It was a quiet weekend on the pitch for Dunnikier cricketers unforunately.
On Saturday, the 1st XI match against Gala at home was cancelled due to the heavy rains on Friday and the 2nd XI match against Largo 3 was rescheduled to Sunday 9 June instead.
The Forth Cricket Union match against Dunfermline on Sunday was cancelled due to a bereavment at Dunfermline CC, and the match will be rescheduled to another time.

DCC 2nd XI v Stirling Co 4th XI

Successful start to league season for DCC 2nd XI with an emphatic win over Stirling Co 4th XI at Dunnikier Park.
DCC won the toss and chose to field first, which proved to be a wise choice as Stirling were bowled out for 39 in 20.1 overs. The best bowling return goes to Z Ahmed with five for five from 2.1 overs, following up miserly bowling...

We are very pleased and excited to announce that Dunnikier will be playing Saturday Cricket again from the start of the 2013 season.
Due to an influx of cricketers from another club we have applied and been accepted to re-join (after an absence of 3 years)the East of Scotland Cricket Association (ESCA) Division 2 League from the start of the 2013 season.
This will be the start of a new era for the club and we would welcome any previous and of coarse any new members to our club.Ple...

Dunnikier, the Forth Cricket Union 2011 Champions, were finally able to get the defence of their title underway on Sunday against West Lothian.
Playing their first game of the season, the Kirkcaldy team have struggled for player numbers over the last few weeks, and this was to be their undoing again as only seven players were able to travel to Linlithgow.
