Dunnikier Cricket Club Open Day

Sunday 13th June 2010, Dunnikier Park

Dunnikier Cricket Club will be holding an open day at Dunnikier Park on Sunday 13th June.  The event is open to everyone and should run from 1pm onwards, incorporating some of the following activities:

  • Coaching and training sessions
  • Twenty twenty cricket match
  • Single wicket competition

The exact make up and structure of the day will be fully dependent on the number of people attending.

We would encourage all members and any other interested parties to come along and play cricket in a fun and friendly environment at no cost.

If it's a nice enough day then the barbeque might even be sparked up.  For those interested, we might even stretch to a game of Death Cricket should the mood take us.

Unfortunately this event has been cancelled due to the rain.

Training takes place every Tuesday night at Dunnikier Park from 6.30pm. We would invite anyone interested in playing cricket to come along then and give it a go.

We may consider running a single wicket competion later on in the season on a Tuesday night so keep your eye out for that fun event.

Would all club members, players and non-players, make every effort to attend this event and support your club.

Please also spread the word somehow and see if other people you know, young or old, would like to come along.
